Read a token page in 30 seconds

You will not have five minutes. This is the order that removes the most tokens with the least reading, and every step is one number already on the page in front of you.

01

Start with the address

Open the token by its CACAContract address — on Solana, the mint address. The token's only unambiguous identity., copied from a source you already trust. Names, tickers and art cost nothing to duplicate, and a copy tokenFake CAA copy token pushed under a real one's name — in replies, in a hijacked profile, in a pinned message edited after the fact. listed under a real project's name is the cheapest scam in the market.

If you arrived from a chat, compare the address with the project's own post — not with the reply that quoted it, and not with a pinned message that may have been edited an hour ago.

02

Who holds it

Read Top holdersTop holdersThe share of supply held by the largest wallets, usually shown as a top-10 percentage. before anything else. Ten wallets holding sixty percent of the supply means the chart ends when a few people decide it does.

Then check how much supply was bought in the launch block, which terminals label as bundledBundleMany buys pushed into the same block from wallets under one owner, usually in the launch block itself. supply. A high bundled share under a rising chart is what a prepared exit looks like from the outside.

03

Can it be sold

Most launches revoke it at creation. and freeze authoritiesFreeze authorityThe key allowed to freeze token accounts, which stops the holder from transferring or selling. should be revoked, and the pool burned or locked. When a terminal cannot tell you either way, treat the silence as an answer.

The last check is behavioural: a small test sell. A token that accepts buys while sells fail is a HoneypotHoneypotA token you can buy but cannot sell, enforced by token settings or a tax that takes everything on exit., and the fee on that test is the cheapest information you will buy all day.

Do the test sell while the position is still small enough that being wrong costs nothing.
04

Is the activity real

Compare volume with unique traders and with holder growth. Genuine interest moves all three at once. Manufactured activity moves only the first, because that is the one people look at.

Comments and replies are the easiest part of a token page to fabricate and the most convincing to read. Weigh them last, if at all.

05

Who made it

The creator's history is public and it is the check most people skip. A wallet with dozens of launches and no migrationsMigration rateThe share of a creator's launches that reached a real pool instead of dying on the curve. has a track record — just not the one the chat is describing.

Our developer list and wallet pages exist for exactly this step: they keep the launch history of tracked creators in one place, so the check takes seconds rather than an evening on an explorer.

The whole check, in order

  • Address matches the source you trust
  • Top-10 holders and bundled supply
  • Mint and freeze authorities revoked
  • Pool burned or locked, and deep enough for your size
  • Volume against unique traders and holder growth
  • Creator's previous launches and migration rate
  • A test sell, while the position is still small
QUICK RULE

Thirty seconds of checks costs less than one bad entry.
